Rant, Rant, Rant: 2+ Customs

HEY THERE - this rant is mainly directed to people who have IDs under the 8,000+ category. If you're a Wolf-Haven novelty (such as Seagleam *nunface*), then you have a reason to get yourself a new custom.

So, of course, I'm here with a rant. Today, I'm here to discuss people who get customs when they already have customs. This is something that has been annoying me forever and I'm glad to finally get it off of my chest. Please note that everything contained in this entry is my OPINION. I do not hate you, I am not going to mute you, I'm not going to ask Karlos to permanently IP ban you, and I'm not going to shoot your head off with rainbowsperm. I mean, I guess I could do the last one if you'd like...

Anyways, people who replace their perfectly fine customs... they just annoy me to no end. I understand if you have a REASON to get a new custom, but if you already have a custom, just get a custom on your new account! Remember that when you get a new custom, you've technically wasted 7.50 GBP. If you donated to get a custom, you got Points with it, but you donated for the custom credit, not to have 75 Points. Sure, you still have your Points, but you could have earned them in a contest. You basically just took two $12 bills and glued them on top of each other.

If you're a Rival, just go make a new account! Don't like your old custom? Sell the account. Don't want to level to the Rival rank again? Buy a Rival account off of somebody and put your new custom there. WHY are you going to waste your money? I doubt any of you overwrite your customs for the sake of saving server space, which would really be the only reason that one should do so without a good reason. I mean, I understand if you are a Warlord-leveled user and don't want to re-level again, but a Rival?

With that being said, I don't mind custom revamps when somebody is at a decent level. I mean, I'm getting a custom revamp. Pfft, I've only donated 7.50 GBP total of my own money to Wolf-Haven. I sold a truckload of Chicken Smoothie pets to get Points and give donations. That makes me feel better because I feel that I'm not wasting money. Plus, I am an Exalted user. I do support myself and any other Exalted getting a custom revamp because that is a decent level. But, if you are something lower, there is no need to waste your money.

The only time that I could see a second custom being suitable is when you are drawing new lines with good reason. Perhaps you're like me and got your custom when the "No edits" rule was still enforced. I am in love with my current custom, but perhaps I want custom emotes without changing my character design. That is one of the few instances that I don't mind custom revamps. Of course, when you're revamping a custom that already has custom lines... well, you are, in my sole opinion, a dumbass.

And of course, the more often you do this, the more money you waste. Dear Rival-leveled user, you don't need a second custom, let alone a third one. Just move your character info over to a new account and get a new custom there. Sell your old account, keep it, whatever... but don't overwrite something without a good reason. "I changed my character" is a silly reason. As I stated, simply sell and transfer. You could always donate on one account and send the Points to another. I did this once and I was told that it was fine. If you want a new custom and 150 Points, simply donate on separate accounts and use the Points on one account. It's not a big hassle and will benefit you in the long-run.

So, again, there's no need to waste your money. If you want to, that's fine, but I personally just find it sickening. ;3;
